Change log

A record of the FORESTDEPTHS rebuild.

October 31, 2026 — Stories, context, and focused studies

Added separately composed narrative scenes for all 235 tools, with physical setting, dialogue, a consequential choice, a later beat, craft commentary, and an alternative outcome. Added 208 topic-specific vocabulary dossiers and domain-based semantic interpretations; shared core word associations are distinguished from their application in a particular tool. Expanded the reading library to six foundations and twenty focused studies, and replaced the identical closing workshop on each foundation with category-specific practice. Preserved every tool URL and added twenty descriptive study URLs.

October 31, 2026 — Individual readings and complete cases

Replaced broad fallback reading templates with individually composed word scenarios and explicitly author-assigned name vignettes. Added complete purpose, pressure, decision, and consequence cases across all 235 tools. Added 27 original scene-revision comparisons and rewrote tool articles around particular evidence, word choices, and practical revisions. A relevant word can still share its reading across tools; no universal symbolism, real etymology, or search-engine originality score is claimed.

October 31, 2026 — Words, readings, and clearer paths

Expanded all 208 naming tools to 100 starting roots and 100 anchors each. Added searchable word readings, fictional scene seeds, symbolic tensions, writing exercises, and reproducible examples. Related tools share thematic vocabulary and interpretive methods; the readings do not claim researched etymology. Added fixed-root and exact-anchor controls, richer local briefs, and native dropdown navigation with 20 topic collections. Preserved all 235 tool routes and existing browser-local notebook entries.

October 30, 2026 — A new creative workshop

Introduced six English-language categories and 235 tools: a complete English reconstruction of the original 208 naming topics plus 27 new story-development tools. Rebuilt navigation, the design system, page templates, URLs, the generation engine, and publishing metadata. Added six long-form craft guides, local notebooks, comparison, configuration sharing, editable notes, and Markdown and JSON export. Replaced the prior brand and contact details throughout the deployable website. Original source and output remain in local backup directories and are not part of the new public website.
